Christmas Tree

We went to cut down a Christmas Tree last weekend at the Covered Bridge Farm in Montrose. It was a cold, snowy day but we had a blast!
Hannah, Tann and Dad cut down a beautiful, somewhat Charlie Brown, Douglas Fir.

They have to most beautiful Clydesdale horses, a great fire pit for roasting marshmallows, and a huge hay bale mountain.

Mini-Mites Day 3 - and Boden

Boden got two teeth a week ago - he can't keep his tongue away from them!
He is also getting around pretty well. Not yet crawling, but can make it from here to there no problem. A little rolling, a little commando crawling, some slithering. He might be seeing the last of mom and dads bed and moving into his own. Not sure how he's going to like that - or how his mom will either...

So cute! And they get better every minute!
I've never seen Hannah so happy about something. She could stay on the ice all day, and then when it's time to go home all she can do is ask if we can go again tomorrow and the next day. Pretty awesome!

Mini Mites Take 1

She was so excited and had a blast. A bunch of little bodies flailing around on the ice!

Rabbit Valley Camping

We went for our first camping trip with Bode last weekend. It was great! The first night we camped in Fruita, rode bikes, and made smores!
Boden loved it!

The second day we spent in Rabbit Valley - they have a great little trail called the Trail Through Time where they have done some archeological digs for dinosaur bones. The kids thought it was the coolest! We saw where they dug, saw some lizards and huge spiders, Hannah looks like she could be a true paleontologist!
We had an amazing campsite way above the river with great views and an amazing sunrise! We all got in some great biking, some good campfire time, and everyone slept great!

The kiddos were wiped out for the drive home!
Can't wait to go again!

Last day of Soccer

Thanks to the Adrian / Gerberding clan Tanner got a tie dye kit for his birthday. Finally I remembered to get some white T-shirts, Tan and Hannah went to town on the shirts and have pretty much been wearing them every day since. I think it's been three weeks now! You would think we're a family of hippies.

Walking around the pond to the wedding site - I think there were about 10 little flower girls! So adorable.
It was an amazing day. Warm, beautiful, the leaves were starting to change. And despite Hannah getting stung by a bee and punched in the face (resulting ina blody nose) we had a great family day at the wedding! And the bride and groom were amazing.

Downward Dog

Bode's been a little mover these days. I can put him in one place and 20 minutes later he's a few feet across the room. Not quite sure how he does it, but he's getting there!

He's practicing for some real moving (crawling). Hope it's not too soon - I'm not ready!

Hannah Turns 5!!!

Hanna had a great birthday party.
We had a mushroom hunt (filled with candy of course) through the woods and a nice hike, played some games, and ate cake!!!
